A full custom Laravel platform for a boutique hotel in Sarti, Sithonia. Far more than a website: a booking engine wired live to the Smoobu channel manager, a bespoke PMS-style back office, and complete content in 16 languages, all run day to day by the hotel team itself.
Behind the build
Cocoon Sarti is a boutique hotel a few steps from the beach in Sithonia, and it wanted more than a brochure: a website that takes real bookings, speaks to guests from all over Europe, and can be run day to day by the people who run the hotel.
So we built a booking engine, not a form. Availability and nightly rates are read live from the hotel's Smoobu channel manager, so the calendar is always the single source of truth and double-bookings are impossible. If Smoobu is ever unreachable, the site fails safe to "unavailable" rather than risk a bad booking, while every request is acknowledged instantly, confirmed by staff, and pushed straight back into Smoobu.
Behind it sits a full custom back office. The team manages rooms, seasons and pricing, a block-based page builder, guides and offers, and a guest CRM, all in sixteen languages, with OpenAI and Gemini drafting the translations for review. Access is protected with two-factor authentication, roles, and a complete audit trail.
Marketing and guest communication live in the same place: scheduled posts and a unified inbox for Facebook and Instagram, Twilio SMS and Mailchimp newsletters, pre-arrival and post-stay emails that send themselves, and GA4, Search Console and first-party analytics so the team can see what is working.
Under the hood, AVIF and WebP responsive images, full-page caching, hotel structured data, hreflang across every language, generated sitemaps, and an llms.txt file keep the site fast, accessible, and easy to find, for both search engines and AI assistants.

The Challenge
A boutique hotel in a tourist destination needed to take direct bookings with no risk of double-booking, speak to guests from across Europe in their own language, and manage rooms, pricing, content, and guest communication from one place, without outside technical help.
The Solution
